Books on CD
Books on CD used to be the state of the art format. It replaced recorded books that came on tape and later on
cassettes. They were a great step ahead, as a CD can take up much longer recordings and especially is much more
stable than tapes.
But CD's can pile up real fast, when you are looking at an unabridged audiobook that consists of fifteen to
twenty hours of recorded speech.
To have full, unabridged audio books it's necessary to have that much time available, especially if you are
looking at the large volumes of classic fiction writers, whose books easily contain a thousnd pages and more.
Download an Audiobook and burn your own CD's
